It it only the 2 USB ports at the front lower of the centre console that connect for Apple Car Play or does the one also at the side of the screen also connect?

Brodit have a clip - that goes between the screen and steering wheel - but unless the Port behind the Pivi connects to CarPlay - seems like its in the wrong place.

Think the USB to the left of the screen is just power (my phone didn’t connect via it).
