Yep, the package dropped through my letterbox 5 minutes ago - are the LR publicity guys trying to tell me I need to replace my First Edition at 9 months old?

Why would they send out a brochure to an existing owner? Rgds.

They wouldn't be on their own if they did.

I was spammed to death by Isuzu for almost all of the five years I had my DMAX starting almost immediately after purchase.

I fully expect a torrent of LR stuff (again Rolling Eyes ) when I'm back driving a Green Oval at the end of the month Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

They just want to make you think that your car is as modular as their new brochure Laughing

Is it wrong that I used the axe to make the boys fridge door art of an owl look more menacing? Whistle

An informative brochure it seems, has it tempted you enough?

I just got one, despite never having expressed any interest whatsoever in the new Defender.

I’m just feeling old now. When I bought my Td5 and Puma the brochures and marketing material were actually useful and detailed exactly what you were getting.

Now you get a sticker book... that’s going straight in the recycling. Dave

A sticker book Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter .
Just about sums up everything that's wrong with the Sir Gerard Gabriel McGovern OBE's approach to Defender.

What next? A Rupert the Bear annual inspired brochure where you brush water over the white pages and a Pangea Green or Tasman Blue Pretender appears as if by magic.

Working for a large multi national company (thankfully on the engineering side of the business) I got to see first hand time after time how our marketing department could come up with such stupid and ridiculous marketing campaigns. This latest one from JLR is definitely stupid and absurdly ridiculous. Defender 90XS SW
