Noticing some good detail improvements...
Over the Disco3/4.

First, it was always a nuisance to have to turn the heated seats back on if you did a stop then restart on a cold morning, now the Defender seems to remember for a while that I’ve had the seat on heat, and when I restart after picking up something from the shop perhaps, and restart, the seats are already switched on. After a while it must decide that I’m not coming back quickly, and I then do have to switch them on again, but it’s a nice touch that shows someone in the software development thought it through! Perhaps the same chap can look at the remote start app and out seat/screen heaters on there?

Also, noticed that the heated screens don’t come back on automatically when the temp is below 4 degrees if you switched them of before you stopped. It’s a big current draw and if not needed, saves the battery and fuel. Again, it seems that after a longer stop, they do come on when it’s <4 deg. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Yes I noticed that today. I’ve only had mine for 10 days and it definitely wasn’t doing that the other day so must of been a software update.

After having them on the Evoque, they were necessary. The heated steering wheel seems to spurious but I love it so much. I am weak!!

Also, it’s -25C here right now with wind chill, -16 without. And snow. D110 P300 (now here) -- Pangea Green / white roof / white steelies / Off-road pack / towing pack / cold-weather pack / heated seats and assorted fun odds and sods

We had -19c here a few days ago. I don’t need anything heated on Skippy, we just stayed in. No dogs to walk any more so every excuse to stay inside with the log burner doing it’s thing. Thumbs Up

TBS I had heated seats, screen and steering wheel on both my D3 and D4, all got well used. Thumbs Up

Dogs don’t want to go out. Beagle is belly deep or more in the drifts, and the Great Dane is way too sensible!!! They have occupied the couches and are in a proper sulk. D110 P300 (now here) -- Pangea Green / white roof / white steelies / Off-road pack / towing pack / cold-weather pack / heated seats and assorted fun odds and sods

My heated seats didn’t come on automatically this morning. I checked the software update and the last update was done on 10th Feb, so that was Wednesday. The heated screens did. OAT was +4 degrees. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

A beagle and a great dane sounds a great combo. Dogs have a habit of getting us well trained. Thumbs Up

Let’s go with ‘great’. Dane did take me for a walk yesterday despite the temps. If she can get herself into the Defender, she’ll like it a lot more than the evoque — that back seat is not her scale!!! D110 P300 (now here) -- Pangea Green / white roof / white steelies / Off-road pack / towing pack / cold-weather pack / heated seats and assorted fun odds and sods
