England 1995 Defender 110 300 Tdi HT Portofino Red
3 bearing 2.25 diesel head on 5 bearing diesel block?
as titled, does anyone know if a cylinder head from a 3 bearing diesel will fit on my 5 bearing diesel? looked everywhere and cant find the answer, cheers,

I’m pretty sure it will. I know 5 and 3 bearing petrol heads are interchangeable, so other than maybe different ancillaries, I think the basic head is the same. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

thanks mate, cant find anything that confirms or denies it, maybe just the bolt threads in the head being metric or imperial is the only difference as the difference between 5 bearing crank and 3 bearing crank shouldnt interfere with the layout of the head ?
