13 out of 17 cars in car park were LandRover
we had our first snow this morning so had to get up early to go to our favourite local hill.

we got there around 9AM and out of the 17 cars parked there 13 were LandRover of some description. 3 Defenders, 4 Disco 3 or 4 and the other 6 were a mixture of Disco Sport or Range Rover types.

one family had been there sleding and building snow men since 7:30 Rolling with laughter

a couple of non Landrover SUV's were stuck getting up the hill to the car park and had to leg it and it wasn't that deep Defender D250 HSE

The same thought crossed my mind, but sadly round here there is little to suggest that there is a lockdown in force, people really don't seem to be taking it seriously. No wonder the new mutations are spreading like wildfire.

Problem in the UK seems to be that the media won't let the government win on lockdown. I listen to LBC through the day and in almost the same breath the talking heads will complain that lockdown isn't strict enough and people are dying, then moan when people are fined for breaking the rules because 'the two ladies were only having a cup of tea together, which they brought themselves'. In France, if you break the rules, you get fined. Immediately, and a lot, and no paper, radio or government minister will say the Gendarmes were wrong to do so. And they've been doing so since April last year. As an example, the organiser of the NYE rave in Brittany is still in prison. Let's see what happens to the organiser of last night's Hackney rave. So, if the UK can't police it and the attempts to do so are picked apart by the media, people won't listen, will try and conveniently forget or will take the 'p'. Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....
