United Kingdom 2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Firenze Red
I’ve been meaning to investigate why my heated seat doesn’t seem to be working. Excellent post, thank you, i will take a look at that thermostat.

Fixed my driver's side this week following this info.
Two observations:
- this seat was always less hot than the passenger's but is now the same. I think that the original soldering didn't make a good connection and was probably also weak.
- the yellow wire is very stiff and inflexible and likely to transfer movement or vibration to the strands adjacent to the soldered joint leading to failure. I recently bought a proprietary short repair loom for MrsGLP's Fiat tailgate and this is made up from lovely flexible silicone-insulated multi-strand wire that seems likely to be longer lasting. If I need to replace my Defender door looms I will source this for the job. Cheers, Guy.
