Scotland 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Keswick Green
Keswick Green DCPU
Sold my Td5 DCPU 2 and a half years ago, regretted it ever since. What makes it worse is I sold it to a customer, and he's constantly in showing me the work he's doing to it, the respray, and I'm gutted

Ended up buying a Td5 90 a year later, and said I'd never sell it. Until another customer comes in at the start of lockdown, and made me a silly offer on it. So that went too Big Cry

Fast forward to today, when I took delivery of my "forever" Defender. I've been there twice, and I'm not selling this one Laughing
Bit rough round the edges, and needs a few minor mechanical niggles sorted before moving onto the cosmetic bits

My Britpart basket is sitting at a frightening amount already, and I've not even driven it yet Rolling with laughter

Nice looking defender and a great colour choice !
Mine looked identical when I got it , in fact it was from up your way and possibly hadn’t been treated all that well !

Is yours an ex estate vehicle? https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/

I love the originality of it, Looks like a good honest truck.

I’m not sure I can comment about “ forever” status though.... it appears I’m just as bad as you when it comes to buying landrovers Very Happy 2002 Td5 | 90 County Station Wagon | Oslo Blue

It is from an estate, in Aviemore Thumbs Up

As said, it has a few issues and a few battle scars, but nothing that can't be resolved

Welcome back Mike! I have a suspicion it wont be stock for long... I still remember being utterly bemused at your old 110's performance as you blasted it down the on ramp to the Kingsway with my mate and myself grinning like utter fools on a test spin. Still a bit sad I never won that auction as I was the highest bidder but never reached reserve Razz

Did the butcher boy ever get round to respraying it black, haven't been in Dundee since finishing Uni this year? I know he wanted it for branding and would often pop out to look at mine in the car park Thumbs Up Stuart

What a tease - not even opened them!

Any reason as to why you didn't go for another TD5 Mike?

Also, any chance we'll eventually see a box with a VGT/big turbo in it Wink Stuart

This came along at the right time and the right price

Td5 DC's are pretty rare to see up this way for sale, and most of them have been messed around with, and would cost a fortune to put right

This is another blank canvas Mr. Green

As for bigger turbos, there aren't huge gains to be had. Big intercooler, big exhaust and a map will probably suffice this time round. If it expires naturally, then an upgrade makes sense, obviously Laughing
