EGR solenoid is making noice
Anyone knows if the EGR solenoid (where the blue vacuum hose goes to) should be covered/plugged? My friends TD5 is not and works great Mine is plugged but makes a weird sound like something is working to much. Kinda like when you take your vacuum cleaner and put your hand over the tip.

The solenoid is plugged with a small brass rod which I turned in the lathe. It's snug and press fitted on, so no air should leak..

Here's a video of it.
