Owned for the last 5 years, it has been maintained and improved regardless of expense (see details below). Along with the list of additions above, and annual full services including fuel filter & fuel treatment, the following maintenance items have been covered using genuine parts (or decent quality equivalents): - New starter motor (Bosch) New battery New EGR Rebuilt brake calipers with Zeus SS pistons and genuine seals, new pads. 3 x wheel bearings & seals, 1 x axle drive member Annual service with oil, air and fuel filters and fuel treatment, following LR service schedule including brake fluid changes Rear prop UJs 2 x horns 2nd hand take-off A/C condenser and re-gas New headlamp switch (Bearmach) and indicator switch (Lucas) Reason for sale: Defender was originally bought as dual purpose work and private vehicle with relatively little business travel, which has now risen significantly due to a job role change. Also is now more than double the maximum age for a company-financed vehicle according to my employer’s contract. As it has now become effectively only a weekend “dog walk” and shoot vehicle, sadly it needs to be replaced by something I can also use for work. *******WHEELS NOW SOLD STC ******Also offering by separate arrangement a set of 4 x Blindo 7 x 16” ET 25 wheels with BFG AT KO2 235/85 x 16 120/116S tyres, 8/7/8, 9/8/8, 9/8/9, 8/8/8 mm tread depths. Wheels blasted, zinc primed with black powder coat November 2020, plus Evo Corse 7 x 16” ET 25 spare wheel supplied loose - may all be included with the 110, including full locking wheel nut set if price is right.*******WHEELS NOW SOLD STC ****** I will also include all of the standard parts I removed, a new set of Crystal headlights, LED conversion bulbs, a Boomslang loom and the SD internal roll cage padding kit and adhesives. Will also supply repainted Warn 9.5ti winch which needs reassembly. Asking £19,995 but open to reasonable offers. Also would consider swap for Automatic Double Cab D-Max or Hi-Lux of similar value. Weirdly this one didn't leak a drop but did leave what looks like half of Salisbury Plain on the drive so still plenty of power washing to do. |
