Deployable steps for the TD5
I fancied deployable steps for the TD5 after originally removing the Britpart steps for a repaint I had fitted a couple of years earlier.

I searched but couldn't find any so I made some.

I have also "documented" the build on youTube for anyone who may be interested! I'm afraid it's a 8 part series...

Very Nice Thumbs Up Seen one similar on a 130 and is something I'd replicate once I have enough money to buy one...

Would probably have a market for it if they doubled as a rock slider and are at the same level as the original sills.

Still excellent though Thumbs Up .. just personally do not fancy the Series II look sills.

One problem I spot is that if the seal on the actuator starts leaking, you will loose air and might have trouble keeping the cabin quite. You will also get more control on the movement if you pressurize both sides of the actuator, and then control the exhaust flow. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
