BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 in winter
Hello everybody!
do you have made experience with the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tyres in winter and on snow?
Are they recommendable?

Mine are great in the snow. I have KM3s on the 110 for most of the year but keeping the KO2 for the winter as the MTs are not as well suited to the snow and ice Whistle

In conjunction with the TC and DSC, the 110 was scarily stable in the snow.

Last winter traveled through the Alps with BFG AT KO2. I had no problems even though the slops were very steep and the roads were covered with packed snow.

Many thanks for your answers!!!

Do the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A Ko2 have the "snow-mountains"-icon (for allowed winter use within the EU) or only the M+S sign?

They have the snow / mountain icon so are winter / snow rated

Bear in mind they are only 'R' rated (170km/h) which is less than your vehicles top speed. This may cause insurance issues...

Good evening, I'm a hopeful Defender 2021 owner just trying to sort out my thoughts:-
This forum is great reading, so thank you to all contributors

I've just been looking at these

https://www.tyres-guru.co.uk/product/Goody...0/R-403680

They have Homologated tyre status for LR 2020+ defender as far as I can understand, and can be ordered through LR dealers presumably for any engine from a D200 to a P400, and yet they carry a Q speed rating = 99mph.
So perhaps the tyre speed rating is a little more complex than it first appears.

I have been running on Duratracs in that size since July. I wouldn’t buy them from my LR dealership though as you will be charged way over the cheapest price available. Despite being advised not to go to them I got a great discounted deal from my local KwikFit and they fitted them on my drive using their mobile service however 20” wheels were too big to fit in the vans balancing machine so I ended up having to go into the local KwikFit depot to get them balanced. The mobile fitter arranged the balancing for the next day at a time to suit me. With the Trade Union membership discount I had they were the cheapest deal I could find but the fitting got delayed 24 hours (no problem as I’m now retired) as 2 of the 5 tyres had to be couriered to Scotland from Maidstone, as only 3 were available locally. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Tim, how would you rate your Duratracs for noise and grip on tarmac?

Fine, very quiet and I’ve not had any noticeable increase in fuel consumption. I’ve not driven them in snow or frozen roads so far. They are a huge improvement over the standard issue Pirelli’s that the car was delivered with off road too. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

United Kingdom 2006 Defender 90 Other HT Tonga Green
Hi I’ve asked this question in another part of the forum but just seen this section... Does anyone know if BF Goodrich KO2 size 265/60/R20 will fit without any rubbing on the new Defender? Or if not what size will fit without needing to use spacers or a lift? Thanks

Thanks, yes I’ve watched Steven Firth’s video it is very good but each tyre brand and model is different even if same size measurements they can have thicker tread and in this new Defender it is very tight, basically all mud terrain won’t fit without a lift or reducing side wall size which I don’t want to do. I’ve read a few people have managed to get the KO2’s on just want to make sure before paying money as they are not cheap. Thumbs Up
