Swapping front jump seat for a cubby box, easy?
For anyone with a front jump seat, or looked closely at one, does it look a straight forward job to whip out the jump seat and replace it with a cubby box. I like the look of the 90 FE but have absolutely no use for the jump seat. I could live with the canvas sunroof but not the extra seat.

Thought oh wise ones out there?

I deleted the cubby box on mine but there appears to be bolts where the cubby box should go, no idea about the seat though.

I’m wondering if the seat bolts into the same holes. Confused

I’m wondering about disconnecting the seatbelt pre-tensioner - might give you a permanent SRS fault light on the overhead SRS status display which would be annoying. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Didn’t think of electrical issues as no airbag but that could well scupper that. Sad

The structure underneat the middle tunnel is the same, I would like to buy the jumpseat afterwards/aftermarket . To have the choice to go with 3.
Do also like the luxury for 2..
Please PM me for a jumpseat in black.. No Mud flaps for my 90.!

I don’t have a Defender yet, just asking the question in case I do end up going for a 90 FE. Whistle

Pull a fuse or a jumper wire would probably take care of that?
