Just noticed a small bracket the steering stop bolt bangs against with some Defenders, when on full lock.
Ours doesn't have it. The bolt just hits the axle end of the swivel ball. Which seems ok to me. Any idea why it's (not) present? It's part #15 here https://www.lrworkshop.com/diagrams/land-r...afts_44783 TAU100170 |

It's listed as only relevant to certain axles so has probably been designed out to make it cheaper. Darren

Thank you both! There's plenty space between tyres and radius arms. £30 saved
Didn't know there was an axle serial number Wont find it anyway under all that wax... |
