Torn about purchase of 110
I’m not usually torn on making my mind up for a vehicle.

Been to view a 2006 110 TD5 XS SW. 50k and two owners. Underside looks it’s low miles. Interior needs cleaning. Serviced recently but not many in last 7 years. FSH before that.

Bodywork. Dent in roof, dent on bulkhead, some scratches and marks. Rust on tub cappings around rear lights. One area of corrosion offside rear quarter panel.

It’s been on a shoot estate and clearly used. It is a late TD5 for trade money that drives like its got 50k.

Just unsure as I could get a much higher miles TDCI but I love the engine.... can I make it the condition it should be for the money I want to spend ..

I've helped you all I can Laughing

Sounds very tempting to me. Are you being honest with your appraisal of the state of it and the likely costs to get it where you want it. We all know shoot vehicles tend to get less love than they might!!

I probably don’t know enough about a shoot vehicle or the owners vehicle which was used by him on the shoot! 1951 80" S1 2.0

I am responsible for 3 shoot vehicles. High hours for the mileages, off road 90% of time and mileage, multi driver, run at near max payload 90% of time. Ours are meticulously serviced and want for nothing and therefore relatively low mileage for the age. Would I buy one, no. Cheers

Its probably been driven most of its miles in low ratio and high revs, if the ones I have seen on the North Yorkshire moors are anything to go by. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.
