Fire engine Ladder.
I have had this ladder for at least 35 years and it's time for it to go to a good home, so i was wondering if anyone on this forum knows of someone who is restoring a fire engine/tender and wants a genuine ladder for authenticity, it was made it 1952 and still has the plate to prove this, it is about 20' in length. The only thing missing from it, is the rope to pull the top half ( 2 part ladder ) up and down.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this Very Happy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.

Hi Stacey007 i think it's to old for your mate's resto, the ladder is from 1952 unless he could find some pics with the right ladder that goes on the 110 Very Happy

Sounds from your description like it's a 35ft Ajax, but without a picture I'm only guessing. If it is, then these were still on front line appliance's until the early 90's. Cheers

The 110's pictured were unlikely to have carried a ladder as they look more like support vehicles.

The 110 on ebay is basically a small fire appliance suitable for the narrow streets in the area it served.

Posting a picture of the ladder would help.

I'm guessing it's probably a 95 or 105.

Than looks a nice tidy 110 Fire Appliance - I hope whoever buys it keeps it as is.

Looks to be on 6.5" rims. Not unusual on fire vehicles. 2011 110 USW
