[For Sale] Anybody fancy a project?
The time has come for me to reduce the number of defender projects I have (according to SWMBO).
I have an 2004 TD5 rolling chassis from an ex MOD 110 Station Wagon.
The vehicle had been rolled, I stripped it back to the bare chassis which was entirely rust free, almost as though the vehicle had rarely been used. I had both the chassis and bulkhead cleaned and galvanised.
The chassis has been painted with 2 part epoxy mastic (Bilt Hamber stuff) and the bulkhead is Keswick green.
The axles have been stripped and repainted with 2 part epoxy mastic, as have the front hockey sticks and rear A frame.
The R380 gearbox and transfer box are both in good working order. The rear axle does not have a differential. The exhaust is from the turbo outlet back and is non cat.
The chassis comes with the MOD release paperwork which would allow the vehicle to be registered as a '54' plate. I have done 2 of these and can provide details as how to complete the vehicle registration form (V55).
For the rolling chassis and bulkhead I would like £3,500 ono.

I also have the front seat box, rear body tub, near side a post, near side window, TD5 main wiring loom, clutch pedal, lower dash, rear floor plate. The rear body tub has damage on the rear and corrosion at the seat to chassis mounting points.
For the rolling chassis, bulkhead and the other parts I would like £4,500 ono.
