P0100 Fault Code
Hi all, apologies in advance as I know this has been covered before but I’m stumped on this one..!

A while back I started getting an engine warning light and the P1103 fault code (Mass Airflow Sensor in Range But Higher Than Expected). It was fairly irregular so I cleared it and often forgot about it. I finally decided to try and resolve the issue and started with replacing the MAF sensor (britpart) as a starting point. I haven’t had the P1103 code since but now get the P0100 code which gives an engine warning light fairly quickly after clearing. It’s also worth noting that I’ve not noticed a drop in performance, but possible a 3-4 mpg drop. It’s also 2.4 Tdci 2010.

I’ve done the following:
- Checked the voltage at the MAF harness which seems to be correct. Does this suggest that there is no breaks in the wiring loom?
- Cleaned the MAP sensor
- I replaced the EGR valve about 6months ago (britpart) and still seems to be working ok
- checked air box for any issues with filter (replaced about 3months ago), nothing unusual there
- checked air pipes for any splits, again nothing unusual
- checked fuses under the steering wheel and all seem fine

So I’m now a bit uncertain how to proceed. Should I put the old MAF back in and see if P1103 returns, trip the loom back to look for breaks, buy a genuine MAF sensor?

Any advise or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Patrick
