I have forgotten whether it does or not.
Apparently my does not. But starts and runs 1.8 sec on bypass. Then I can exclude the earthing problem. Land Rover owner since 2003 2008 Disco3 manual 2000 Defender 130 td5 snorkel warn m6000 |

An immobilised Td5 ECU, if you bypass the starter relay lock out from the 10AS, will run for a second or two before turning off the engine.

Thanks a lot. Then its only lock out from the immobilizer probably.
i made a mistake and had the key with the keyfob in ignition and what ive heared is that it can disturb the as10 because its not in the system due to empty battery earlier or failed ignition lock coil. But there’s also a kick out time if the eka code is set wrong ive also read. But cant remember how long. Land Rover owner since 2003 2008 Disco3 manual 2000 Defender 130 td5 snorkel warn m6000 |

if the 10AS is immob, it will not crank.
if the ECU is immob and the 10AS is not, it will crank. this can happen when you try something funny like swapping around ecu and 10as unit, due to the security code and you will now need the 10as to learn the ecu code again. The defender has migrated, leaving the owner behind. |

I pulled the upper right fuse and then it went beep beep and the
over crossed engine came🤪. Havent had it before this time. Then i tried with the eka code as every time before. Did not work. Then i tried alarm off on my key fob. It worked!!!! No overcrossed engine no flasing red led👌🏻😁 It cranks. But then battery was too empty too start. But now its going to run im quite sure. Thank you very much for the help! I thought i had earth gremlins everywhere. Now is ”only” cut the rest of the rear crossmember and weld on the new. And maybe get fbh running. My defender will save my ass this winter when christmas tree disco3 needs overhaul ( crazy hand brake, lousy front brakes, no ac, half running fbh, engine light due to egr, time to change timing belt etc) Land Rover owner since 2003 2008 Disco3 manual 2000 Defender 130 td5 snorkel warn m6000 |

Must have been some interference between as10 and ecu? Or not really contact in the fuse?
Quite strange. Or did i trig the as10 when i pulled the fuse?[/i] Land Rover owner since 2003 2008 Disco3 manual 2000 Defender 130 td5 snorkel warn m6000 |

If alarm ignition 12 v input from ignition switch not work the alarm will not provide ground to the starter relay, may be fuse holder corroded and when you removed fuse and replaced it remade contacted
