Just to update this thread, the postman delivered a very nice shiny Lodar system this morning. It looks the business.

Thanks to all those who provided advice, suggestions and guidance.

One final question - does the Lodar work OK with just the internal antenna on the receiver if the receiver is mounted in the seat box (this being the obvious place to fit it)?
