Central Locking.....Nearly There.
Gents

Having come a fair way into retrofitting my 110 with central locking using all genuine Land Rover products, I have found that
that the loom that comes to the rear door doesn’t have any wires / connectors to support the rear door actuator.
I have spoken to my local Land Rover dealer who states that there is only one rear loom listed on their system and it doesn’t specify with or without central locking.

Can anyone shed any light on this please. I could tap into the B pillar loom but I hardly think that I should be doing that given there is a connector from the rear door going spare with apparently nowhere to go.

There are no matching colours in the loom and plug coming from the chassis tucked up behind the rear lights at the rear of the wheel well.

The photo shows the central locking plug ( Pink and Orange wires ) coming off the rear door loom with apparently nowhere to go. I don’t think that what l have been told is correct and I am hoping that perhaps someone else has a different answer

It goes up the A pillar and over the roof - it's part of the roof lights harness.

So you either need to change the roof harness for a 110 central locking version OR have someone (like me! Whistle ) make up an overlay loom to add the central locking wires to your roof loom connector and the correct plug to match the one on your rear door.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
