geostrategist Member Since: 25 Apr 2019 Location: UK Posts: 58	Faulty cigarette lighter socket I think that there is a fault somewhere in the wiring in the lighter socket in my 2.4 TDCi, 2008. Whenever anything is plugged in, after a while it is constantly turning itself back on again after a loss of power. Before I take the dash to pieces, are there any usual suspect locations that are known points for the fault to occur?
