What are the unused captives under the rear tub of my dc?
I was washing the underneath of my 110 double cab and noticed there are a row of 4 captives above the wheel arch on the step - and 3 on the upright which aren’t used and are covered by the tub. But what are these used for? Are they seat belt points for the station wagon version? can I use them for extra cargo hooks etc?

United Kingdom 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Stornoway Grey
Seat mountings in the SW variant (which uses the same basic tub as the DC).

They are quite useful as extra anchor points.

Great. Thankyou. That was what I was hoping for! I’ll definitely use them for the extra anchor mounting points.
