JLR’s heart isn’t completely made of stone
If you are looking for a winch then PowerfulUK are going to fit one to their car and video it. I suspect that LR has woken up to the fact that dealership staff often refer to Powerful’s videos when fitting accessories!
Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

A great chap. I've been watching his videos and will be referring to them when I eventually get my 90 Hard Top 😊.

His company also has a selection of accessories for the new Defender. I'll be fitting the rear recovery eyes 👍 That's another good video.

LR said 110 Hard Tops are starting to be manufactured. No dates yet for the 90.

I think the criticism of JLR is often pretty harsh... they make fun cars that can actually go off road, give us all free experience day vouchers and consistently support good causes with their vehicles.

Maybe that’s par for the course, but I think when we whinge about LR we should really be whinging about the dealers...

Looking forward to seeing the winch fitted! Cheers, David

That’s awesome! Glad to see that JLR hooked them up!

I’m tempted to get a pair of of the white steel wheels myself!! If anyone knows of any going?!

For me steel wheels is Defender.

The look of my new Defender is how I’d have had the old one if I’d went the Defender route rather than Disco all those years ago.

If JLR are not careful, isn't there a chance the Lemon Law will come into play?

Exactly Supercat

Why should car sales treat consumers any different ly from any other goods that you can buy.

I recently bought something via Amazon which did not work, I went on line to complete the return faulty section, printed of the return label, took it to the post office and by the time I walked back to the car I had an email to say that Amazon had refunded me.

Car dealers are a joke. How long will it be before the likes of Amazon move in to this market....

It does not matter how much a car costs it's still a big purchase. TFL are being too polite

It is a "good" story for them though, no drama means no story.; and looking at their catalogue, they do like the "oh no it's failed again" byline.

Dealers have 30 days and a max of four attempts to fix the same problem. If different items keep failing (which theirs is so far) then its far more difficult to invoke.
