Nanocom
Hi all,

Does any one know of anyone who has a nanocom who would be willing to do me a diagnostic report on my Defender's central locking for a cost obviously. Willing to go to them, I am in Herefordshire, but Gloucester not to far away neither. The problem I have is that it locks on the fob then immediately unlocks, then a few seconds later the alarm goes off.
Welcome any advice
Cheers

I'm not sure that a Nanocom will help with that but your problem does sound very much like a sticky mechanism in, probably, the drivers door. The grease that they were originally lubricated with tends to go hard over time and the increased resistance produces the symptoms that you describe.

Take a look inside the door, clean off the old grease and re-lubricate the linkages to see if it cures the problem.

Oh, and welcome on board. Darren
