United Kingdom 2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS DCPU Keswick Green
Is there a full VIN decoder available?
Watching the latest from YouTube videos from PowerfulUK and was interested in the VIN codes shown.

Some is easy to transpose from exiting VIN decoders but anyone got a comprehensive one available yet?

Also interested to see the the boats are sailing in just up the road from me at Killingholme. It's been a growing business over the time I have been visiting there for work purposes.

Final thought on this particular VIN ~ assuming the final digits are related to the number of vehicles off the production line, it doesn’t seem that high?

Interesting that they transport them from Nitra to Zeebrugge and not to Bremerhaven for shipping to the UK. My Netherlands built Countryman was transported from near Rotterdam to Bremerhaven by train then to Sheerness by sea. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

1997 Defender 110 300 Tdi CSW Alpine White
I can build it into my vin decoder, but will probably need a few more variations to understand the structure completely.

This one's listed as:

CAB style 5 DOOR
Engine 2L AJ20 P4H
Drive RHD
Transmission 8-Speed Automatic AWD
Trim LESS INT TRIM FINISHER/VENEER
Colour POLARIS WHITE/FUJI WHITE

I would surmise that:
SAL = Land Rover
EA = L663 Defender
7 = 110
A = 5 door
X = 2L AJ20 P4H
8 = RHD 8-speed auto (strange as even numbers are normally LHD)
L = 2020 MY
2 = Nitra
Last 6 digits, starting from 000001 LR Workshop

Cheers Tim.

I've given it a first stab. Still a lot of unknowns at this stage. If anyone learns anything then let me know and I'll update the decoder
