Ram Mounts
Gents
I am thinking about a Ram mount in my 2014 Puma ( if year makes any difference 😳 ) to take my I phone
and perhaps a Sat Nav.

I am completely bewildered by the choices available.
I like the idea of something semi permanent without damaging the dash.

I see they have screw in balls to replace some of the fixings but as I said the choice is slightly overwhelming.
As they aren’t the cheapest i.e lick an stick, I would like to see what advice others can offer.

Yep, have had a look at both the 4x4 Overlander and Mud sites but was looking to see
What works for others and possibly ideas for my own vehicle😬

As mentioned above. I have the Ram mount adaptor from 4x4 Overlander. Had it for about four years. Works well with my sat nav.

A lot depends on exactly what you'd like to achieve but what I've done for my phone may help:

That looks perfect Gents, I like both those options.
Just exactly what I was after.
Thanks for the help

Is it possible that I could put a ram mount in this position on the dash, perhaps for the Sat Nav.
If possible, I would put it there with the other positions as suggested for my phone.

Yes Mudstuff do them...
Same as on my td5, but you use a different screw, supplied.

That's in the centre of a TD4 dash, right? I think this may be too close to the windscreen? But give it a try.
I've fitted one similar to Scoobeenut:

And Anorak's place but different RAM adapter (with double-sided tape on the back)

Both absolutely corrugation-proof Smile

Again, thanks for the advice.
I will try the centre and see how it goes if not, the other positions that have been suggested are
Spot on.

Excellent suggestion for the hand sanitiser, although, I will need to install some moisturiser on the other side,
My hands are in a worse state than when I did my apprenticeship in the garage all those years ago😢

Trailbear - That central location you suggested is the location LR did a specific P/N mounting for Garmin Sat Navs at one time.
I’d imagine the ball size is different though and the part is about £120! Shocked Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
