Puma Rear Door Grill
Gents

Could you either recommend or point me in the right direction of a rear door grill suitable for the Puma or
Are all the grills the same over the model years.

Thanks for the help

Do you mean an internal security grille to cover the window?

I could easily be wrong, but I don't think they were ever standard, so you'll need to consider drilling the door to use self-tappers (I'd use stainless here) or using rivnuts. I did this recently with a black grille, and black, stainless socket screws - it looks 'factory' really.

I think the windows are all the same size, but there might be differences in the grille shape relating to any wiper motors or internal grab handles.

I used an MSS (Mobile Storage Systems) one. Donald

Adding to the above... LR do an internal grill, but as stated they are actually dealer fitted by drilling and using self tappers. I had mine from new, but am considering changing to rivnuts and machine screws. Other brands are available and you can get internal or external. One difference with Pumas from early ones is a cut out for the high level brake light.

Thanks Gents

And yes, I should have said internal window guard. I will have a look at MSS, I completely forgot about them,
Strange considering that I actually purchased a set of the internal side window guards which I never fitted and are at
Present languishing upstairs in the attic along with a number of other semi forgotten Land Rover purchases!

I’ve just ordered one from Flatdog and will match my cages and shelves.
Looking to fit mine with small rivnuts so it can be removed to access the glass

Will have a look at Flatdogs offering.
I have used them a lot in the past.
Would be my intention to fit with rivnuts also if I can find a tool that doesn’t require the biceps of a
Bodybuilder to operate.

Mud Stuff also do one (including cut out version for high level brake light) The design is so that you can fit a range of Molle pouches if desired

I've got the Mantec one in mine, which was already fitted when I bought it:

It does the job ok but is only fitted with self-tappers. On my list of things to do at some point is to refit it with rivnuts, which I think is a better long term fixing. Darren

That must make cleaning the window something of a challenge.

Yes Smile That's why I intend to change the fixings, to be honest, as it is necessary to remove it every now and then. Darren
