Interesting two thirds one third split in the rear door in the first photo, wonder what the reason for that was

In the reveal video (see the other couple of threads) the designer says it is so you don't have to open the big door with the heavy spare on it if you just want to put something small, such as tools, in/out.
I would hope that if you have something a bit bigger, that the bigger door also opens independently without having to open the smaller one first.

Yes, he does mention that both doors can be opened independently. Darren

I LOVE this Grenadier and genuinely excited. I think it’s looking very likely this will be my next car!

The Isuzu had a 2/3 1/3 split rear door, worked quite well.

Interesting that the pickup variant seems to have a longer wheelbase looking at the bottom of the 2nd row doors.

I'm definitely far more exited about this than the disco that LR came up with Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Good spot Shaggydog. Probably to mitigate the ridiculous rear overhang present on many double cabs. See L200 as a prime example. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Yes, already spotted that (I thought I'd mentioned it in another thread). We're seeing the equivalent of 110 and 130 models, which is already very much more exciting than the Nude Offender line-up (only on Planet McGovern can a 110 and a 130 have the same wheelbase).
