K&N v standard filter
I know there’s an old thread on this, but I can’t find it, so thought I’d share my experience.

My Puma 2.4 came with a Twisted remap, K&N filter, Safari RAI and the standard ductwork joining the RAI and airbox.

I have now fitted the nugget sealed air kit, done the airbox mod and chucked the K&N for a Mann standard filter.

Just my experience but the engine seems much smoother and unrestricted ,with smooth acceleration off the line all the way up to 70 and impressive pull through the mid range.

Nothing scientific, but it does seem to support the findings of BAS in that thread I can’t find.

We’ll see how it is over the next few weeks and if it makes any difference to fuel consumption.

Cheers

There is a thread on here about the oil from the filter affecting the MAF sensor

I pullled the MAF senior to clean it today - first time for 9 months - and it was gleaming! The MAP sensor not so much Rolling Eyes
