That air suspension on the New Defender.
When the Covid 19 restrictions get lifted I might take a look at a new Defender at a maindealer. I'll put the mrs in the passenger seat and ask the salesperson to demonstrate the air suspension at it's maximum height.
"Doesn't seem to be working. Is there anything wrong?"
"It seems to be going lower, why is that?"
"Any idea what the problem is...?"
Yep a fun day out will be had by all. Wink 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Air suspension will be the least of any problems - I’ve owned 3 RRS’ s (2 x L320’s and 1 x L494) and 2 L322 Full Fats , all taken well into the wilds with no roads on the wheels and tyres they left the showroom with and the only issue I had in 15 years was with a lamp in a Bixenon headlight that blew 5 days after my 1st Full Fat was delivered in 2003. I won’t deny people have had issues with it but they are few and far between - it has progressively got better over The years and models especially with the compressor and air receiver now living inside the boot under the spare wheel and it is silent too. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!
