WIPER BOX
Hi all is a td5 wiper box and cable easier to change than a Tdci 2.4 ?

Try pulling up the outer rubber seals on the spindles first and lube well.
Mine had this, it was the spindle seizing due to being so dry and the weather brought they about as well as no lubrication.

Once done, turn them on and nudge them and you should find they get going again and then keep lubricating well.

1999 Defender 110 Td5 CSW Rutland Red
I thought it was one of the easier jobs I've done on my TD5. Bit of dash disassembly - changed cable, wheel boxes and park switch thing. Swapped for new arms and flat blades. Much better and didn't take an hour and well worth the £100.

Are you implying that over the years improvements have been applied? But you are talking Landrover?
Not much difference though. Never forget: cars have owner, Landrover have field service personnel.
