Land Rover Assistance
My wife and myself (along with the dog) were judging at a horsey event on Sunday. On our return home in the wife's Disco Sport I managed to hit a breeze block and take out the offside front tyre. As I was tired after a full day of judging and getting too old to be changing wheels at the side of the road I decided to ring Land Rover Assistance.

They could not have been more helpful. As soon as I put the phone down they sent a text message confirming that some one was on their way. Two minutes later I received another text to say that they would be with me in 20 minutes. The driver (AA man) arrived spot on time, he was extremely courteous and helped me to remove the dog crate from the back of the car to gain access to the space saver spare wheel. Changed the wheel, put everything back in the car. The whole job from first phone call to waiving goodbye to the AA man took 40 minutes.

Having owned Land Rovers for many years this was the first time I have ever used Land Rover Assistance and would like to thank them for their professional service.

The wife and I are still sleeping in separate bedrooms and making our own meals but I guess she'll forgive me eventually for damaging her precious DS. Defender 90XS SW

Having a Disco Sport as our 'proper car' it's good to hear about how great the service is.

Likewise, separate bedrooms and cooking my own meals and I've not even damaged hers.....

At least the mother in law did not move in to remind you (daily)that her daughter should have married a footballer and so would never have been at a horse event…….. Whistle

Who do Land Rover use? I can understand a breakdown at home could be serviced by the local dealer, just wondered who they use for recovery? Is it the usual local recovery companies like the AA / RAC / Green Flag etc ten to use these days

Had Land Rover Assistance for four years and luckily never had to use it.
