Have just repaired 2 cracks on both drivers and passengers doors.

If they haven't gone all the way across the sheet metal drill a small hole in the ends to prevent it propagating.

I just ground the surface to bare metal and then ran a series of overlapping tackwelds with the mig so as not to overheat it.
