As Duncan says, we can't identify from just "Tyco AMP" (which is two old names for what is now TE Connectivity)  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Those are just common superseals. Plenty of boots and back shells for those. Just search google for “superseal boot” for going straight onto cable or “superseal backshell” for going onto conduit (usually 7NW and 10NW only) North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader

Possibly Chinese copies of Superseals. The AMP logo is on some of the parts in some photos, but not all Confused  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Thanks chaps. I have pinned up the plugs now. One half of the plug I could get a boot over without unpinning the plug/sockets.

Can you these in panel mount form?(maybe not 4 pins but more pins) 1999 Defender TD5 110

The terminals that corroded on mine were the originals.
Since reterminating and adding a smear of Vaseline to the terminals there has been no corrosion.
That was 4 years ago, so I'd argue that a smear of Vaseline does not compromise the sealing capabilities.

Genuine Econoseal and Superseal connectors appear to be IP67 rated when correctly assembled.

I have a pack of these, I got them from China, so didn't expect a quality but they have been great, got about a 200 piece kit of mixes 1, 2, 3 and 4 pin adapters for about £15 posted.

It would appear Land Rovers harness supplier didn't assemble them correctly then, I suppose.

@Mo, adding a dab of something on the terminals isn't going to affect the sealing, the original Q was about adding RTV etc Thumbs Up  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
