As Duncan says, we can't identify from just "Tyco AMP" (which is two old names for what is now TE Connectivity)

Possibly Chinese copies of Superseals. The AMP logo is on some of the parts in some photos, but not all

Thanks chaps. I have pinned up the plugs now. One half of the plug I could get a boot over without unpinning the plug/sockets.

The terminals that corroded on mine were the originals.
Since reterminating and adding a smear of Vaseline to the terminals there has been no corrosion. That was 4 years ago, so I'd argue that a smear of Vaseline does not compromise the sealing capabilities. Mo The Land Rover 90 - Many are called, few are chosen. |

Genuine Econoseal and Superseal connectors appear to be IP67 rated when correctly assembled.

I have a pack of these, I got them from China, so didn't expect a quality but they have been great, got about a 200 piece kit of mixes 1, 2, 3 and 4 pin adapters for about £15 posted.

@Mo, adding a dab of something on the terminals isn't going to affect the sealing, the original Q was about adding RTV etc
