If you have bleed the system properly then it's not a good sign. I would recommend getting the coolant tested for a blown head.

Yes that's what I've been suspecting for some time. I was hoping that somebody might come up with something that's a little cheaper to remedy. 1996 single cab 130

Get a pressure check and also have coolant chemically tested for exhaust gas. This will at least help.
