Mystery nylon straps inside Roof Tent

Does anyone know what’s the purpose of these black nylon straps on the inside of my roof tent? There’s one either side of the canopy attached to a frame tube. At the loose end, there is a loop. Any ideas please but please remember this is a family forum Thumbs Up

I had a roof tent with similar straps and the loop ends would be left by the door, you could then hold on to them to help you into the tent. I don't remember them being attached to the hoops so i wouldn't want to put too much weight on an ali tube and a plastic joint.
