Alarm and indicators when locking/unlocking
I have removed the dash clocks and fitted a Raptor binnacle to replace the cracked LR one. Everything works ok since replacing the fuse for the heater fan, except the indicators no longer flash when I lock/unlock the car.

I also recently noticed that when I tried locking the vehicle with the drivers door open (unknown to me at the time) there were no warning beeps from the horn.

When locking/unlocking I can hear the relay clicking!

BTW vehicle is a TD5 110 2002

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

My Puma has never beeped (foghorned) when un/locking, something for which I am very grateful Laughing Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

I'd begin by checking all of the fuses. There are several different ones that play a part in the alarm and central locking system, some of which are not obviously marked as such. Darren

Changed the fuse even though it looked OK, also changed fuse 27. Unfortunately the problem remains.

Check door switches. Open door = no indicators. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "BlufĂnek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

I had the same issue. Turns out someone had done some security (inline fuse) wiring to the indicators make it less pinch-able. They had however done it badly and the connections were corroded.
I found the chaos wiring and sorted it out. Indicators now blink again on lock/unlock.

If anyone knows what particular security issue this wiring potentially solved please PM me. I'm interested.

There is an inline fuse and I changed this too. Still no flashes from the indicators when locking and unlocking.

The indicators work ok when turning or if hazard switch is pressed.

1. If direction indicator and hazard are working you need to look at alarm unit

A tip i have learnt is to disconnect battery for 5 min and reconnect it, this will reset the AS10 certainly worth a go, i presume you indicators and hazards work as normal to eliminate the fuse issue? 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

If you don't have a multimeter you probably need one.
Either to check for 12v at various fuse holders or on the end of looms
And also to output a test voltage as that way you can test fuses easily rather than look at them
Ive seen a couple of fuses before that look fine but have a break in them Insta: @thebenjordan4x4
