It will probably grow on me because I like boxy cars, .... but it shouldn't have been called a Defender!

It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.

If JLR had decided not to give it the iconic Defender name then what should they have called it? Perhaps "Adventurer", what do you think? Defender 90XS SW

Discovery? A vehicle the spirit and essence of which it actually embodies.

Ace!

There's a childish part of me that wants to get a big black marker pen in preparation for re wording bonnets as I come across them. Very Happy

It looks bland and insipid to the point of being invisible. What a shame, they had an instantly recognisable silhouette and replaced it with something that is instantly forgettable. It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten

I like... the screws in the door card, because they could've done without them.
Maybe the outside looks could be improved by a few unnecessary rivets (stickers of course)...?

For years the classic silhouette was kept and evolved through the ages (albeit, being JLR, probably by pure chance rather than design), and then overnight it disappears. I still can’t believe that lump is the replacement to this:
