Trials bikes - Oset

Osets (electric) seem to be really well thought of, interested to know if anyone has any experience.

The three adjuster knobs for power, throttle response and top speed sound fantastic but these are newer hence more expensive, I don’t want to spend more than ~£600 unless it really is worth it.

I think the time has come for first trial bike for missy (5.5 yrs old) and mini-me (3.5 yrs old). Hopefully to share, he’s only 10cm shorter.

Looking forward to hopefully taking one hobby off hold!

2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS DCPU Zermatt Silver

I bought one some years ago for my boys. I think they started at age 3 or 4 and was a huge success. Teaches them balance, throttle control and braking in a safe package. Very easy to use without the hassle of hot exhaust pipes, noise, chokes, petrol or oil leaks. Ride around the garden or just throw into the back of the car. It was well built, well used, and I don’t remember having any problems, and was also used by adults once in a while pulling wheelies across the garden ahem…
Mine didn’t have the controls you mention - just a rheostat to control top speed - but that was fine.
When outgrown they moved onto a Honda 70cc and then 125cc Honda and Beta Enduros without any problems and are very fast on the trails.
