Seatbelt mounts 90 HT
I’ve taken out my seats and cubby in prep for soundproofing and a hardura carpet set.

Both my seatbelt buckles are bolted directly to the seat box.

This doesn’t seem right to me.

There are two holes, which look like they should be used to bolt a bracket down that the seatbelt buckles then attach to.

Am I correct?

On a 200tdi it should look like this:

Cheers, mines a ‘95 300tdi so my guess is that it is how it should be then.

Seems odd to have two holes for no reason but hey ho, that’s Land Rover

It’s not for no reason, where do you think the seat belts for the middle seat attach if fitted?

I always forget about the middle seat, as it’s a crazy option to me as I struggle to fit anyway! 😂

Off Topic Out of curiosity, on that pic LRA posted.. What are those two blue riveted cut outs in the interior bulkhead for? They are on my Puma too with the same HT bulkhead type and I'm assuming they must have some possible uses originally designed for otherwise they'd not exist. Anyone know? Ha, ha, I have no idea! They've existed, in one form or another since early 90/110 LR days but I've never seen anything that makes use of them. Even crew cab bulkheads have them. I can only assume they are either for some long forgotten and obscure optional extra or are part of the manufacturing process.

I'd be delighted if anybody does know. Darren

I've asked the same question of many people over the years, and no-one I have ever spoken to has a clue what they're for! I hope one day and plausible theory will emerge.
