I bought this Gemtek 40" from Australia. think it was about £100 odd.
Its very bright indeed! I am currently saving up for some Type X Pro's also from Australia from a company similar to Lazer but a lot more reasonable called Stedi. They look amazing! ![]() Click image to enlarge 2011 Santorini Black USW XS. 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS |

I bought some light bars from this company on eBay : https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=ht...3240305193
Cheap and cheerful but very bright with good range. The brackets have rusted a bit but the light unit itself is still fine and for the price, my plan was to replace with Rigid light bars but as these are still working I don’t see the point. They are not “e” marked/approved so off road only. Pics of them mounted in Buggsy’s thread ![]() 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

^^^^ Those are the same ones I have, flood and spot. They are surprisingly good never had a problem at all. I’m quite happy to live with a paint touch up due to the cost.
The USA, OZ & NZ have good markets for these too, but the carriage and taxes are a killer on some items. If they do need a bit of cosmetic tidying up they are easy to whip off if you use the correct connectors. I used 50A Anderson connectors on mine for current capacity with waterproof boots. The joint between the two boots use a run of quality electrical tape with a tear off tab and that seals them up superbly and should I want to remove them it’s just a case of taking the take off, unplugging and removing. There is even temporary use caps too to keep moisture and wet out whilst you sort anything out. I’ve had about 3+ years at least now of trouble free lighting with them and they’ve been exposed to all weather conditions. Equally I’ve had just as good service from my Nolden LED headlights too. ____\We|Will|Win/___ ____/🇬🇧🇺🇸\____ _//*⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰*\\_ |
