Fault codes
I have a 2007 Puma which has a BAS remap, I have had it 2-years and its been faultless.

A week ago the engine fault light came on, and when i checked the following fault codes came up.

PO404 - Exhaust gas recirculation/control circuit range/performance
PO100 - Mass or volume airflow circuit
PO606 - Engine control module/powertrain control module processor
PO299 - Turbo/Supercharger underboost
PO234 - Turbo/Supercharger overboost condition
PO1103 - mass air flow sensor in range but higher than expected

Checking on here, these seem to be fairly commonplace fault codes, so I cleared them.

However i have had further two instances since then, second time didn't have PO606, but had all same fault codes come up tonight.

Other than changing oil/oil filter, fuel filter and air filter two weeks ago, nothing has been done to the truck.

The truck is running fine, any ideas? I wondered if it was worth reinstalling the ECU remap software?

Thanks

Mike

Looks like it could be related to the EGR? Does your BAS remap have the EGR-shut feature? --

Hmmm... soon after I started using my BAS remap with EGR-shut I also got a bunch of fault codes and when I put the original map on, the EGR self-cleaning sounded like a wounded cat. The dealer found a problem with one of the EGR harnesses and replaced that.

Could be the same thing? See my previous post: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic6900.html?highlight= --

I forget to mention that prior to this dealer visit I had run the EGR-shut standard remap for a 6000km trip.

So maybe keeping the EGR shut for long periods of time may lead to something sticking in there and then throwing up fault codes? --
