Cup holder tray removal puma?
Hi all, I'm awaiting a chubby cubby upgrade and trying to remove the old flat cup holder tray today. The front two screws come out no worries but the rear two are just spinning!
Do I need to get under the vehicle transmission area to remove the nuts?

Most likely the threaded inserts in the seatbox are spinning.

For some reason, the screws are 10x longer than necessary so they rust and then spin the inserts on the way out.
I managed to dig a sharp tool into the insert flange and with a bit of struggling, got em out. I then re-tightened them with a riv-nut tool and copper slipped the screws for next time.
A better method is to get the missus underneath to hold the riv-nuts or whatever insert with mole grips. This method is particularly useful if it’s raining.
