Won't turn off...........
2005 Td5 90
Got in it the other day and the ignitions on, however the keys were still in my pocket..............
So, had a fiddle and I'm struggling, so far I've
Removed wiring from back of ignition barrel, swapped ignition barrel
Checked earths and added temp earth between body/chassis/transmission etc etc
Removed all relays behind dash, central dash and under drivers seat
Unplugged ECU
Swapped 10AS box out for a known working unit
Nothing made any difference - ignition still on! so I started checking fuses - thinking a blown fuse might cause a back-feed or something and got to F8 (central dash fuses) Anti-theft alarm ECU, BBUS - pulled it out and ignition turns off
'With the fuse removed she stops and starts normally, however soon as F8 is returned then on comes the ignition wherever the key is.
Anyone seen this before?
