Noisy Cooling fan bearing. How to replace?
I have a bearing noise that started after I changed my alternator after it died in deep mud last year. So I suspected the replacement altenator or the vacuum pump.
After taking them off again and checking them to find nothing, I just gave alle the pullies a turn and the big one from the fan made a horrible noise. Why didn't I do that before taking the altenator off? Evil or Very Mad

OK now I know which bearing makes noise, I checked the Rave information but for me it is not clear how to change the bearing.
The bearing is fitted on a shaft and held in place with a circlip.
Can I get to that circlip from the front? Or does the whole timing chain cover has to come off?

Thanks in advance,

Excellent post

My tensioner just seized up and snapped my belt. This should help me a bit in getting some space to work.
