What tyre sizes can be fitted to the Freestyle / Hurricane alloys on a Defender 90? It is currently shod on 265/75's BF Goodridge AT tyres. I want to fit something else. I presume 235/85/16 will fit. Would they take 7.50x16? 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

As an aside, Hurricane alloys are 18" Range Rover wheels. The correct name for what are commonly known as 'Freestyle' is Tornado (it's a slow morning here in Anorak Towers). Darren

I have Michelin Latitude Cross 235/85/16 on my own Puma and they are a very comfortable tyre. I was considering putting 235/85/16 on my daughter's 90 which has the BF Goodridge 265's on it but which are showing signs of cracking. I just was not sure if the alloys were a standard size. Prior to the Michelin's I had the Continental Cross Contacts and I was pleased with them. Last time I was changing they had gone out of production so I got the Michelins.
