Advice needed on General Grabbers
I received an advisory today on the MOT about two of my tyres due to splits on the tyre wall. I have General Grabbers TA’s fitted and would like some advice.

First I can buy two new AT’s and be done with it or could I buy two new AT3’s (same price) and fit them on the front axle with a view to buying two more AT3’s next month to replace the original TA’s on the rear. Is it possible to mix these two tyres?

Also how good are the AT3’s against the original AT’s bearing in mind that most of my journeys are done on Tarmac? I have read that the AT3’s are almost silent on the road

Any advice welcome For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

I've been running GG AT3's for about 3k and they're excellent. No road noise and very confidence inspiring in the wet. They're winter rated too, so I'm expecting good things if we ever have any winter. Darren
