[FREE] 2012 Defender XS 110 side bars

Hi All,

I have some slightly rusty 110 XS side bars that I want rid off since I no longer own a Defender.

I stripped off the powder coat, rust treated and painted them last year, the finish looked good at the time, but was fragile and short lived, so they will need doing again with harder wearing paint.

The chequer plate tops are now secured using rivnuts with stainless dome head bolts.

I would like these gone, but they are too good to scrap, so they are going FREE so long as they are collected and the person makes a forum donation.

Stripping the old power coat is no easy feat, these just need a wire brush and some decent paint, or even galvanising. Now gone - 2012 2.2 110 DC XS

I would have snapped these up if I were closer to you, and wasn’t snowed under with work

I’m sure someone will take these off you, there’s been loads on eBay in far worse condition that have gone for silly money.
