1997 Defender 110 300 Tdi HCPU Keswick Green

NOW SOLD - Range Rover P38 4.0 V8

Range Rover - Metalic Red.

X reg. September 2000 vehicle. 4.0 V8 with 73k miles and all MOT’s present. Extensive history with a mixture of main dealer, independent and self service later in life.

I have owned since last year whilst doing a rechassis of my 110 which is coming to an end, but my dad purchased the vehicle in 2008 so family owned for 11 years.

Overall condition is good for its age, paintwork is nice and finish with only minor marks representative of its age.

Tidy grey cloth interior.

The vehicle drives nicely and is smooth with all gears selecting perfectly along with high and low.

Air suspension in perfect working order with new compressor in recent memory.

I have put two new genuine tail pipes and a mid silencer delete, sounds nice but not too loud.

4 nice tidy wheels with matching Marshall road bias tyres all even wear and 5mm plus, spare new and unfitted.

It does have a fault on the heater control where the fan is at one speed but temperature and everything else works regarding demist and direction.

The NS windows and sunroof on the centre console are not functioning but OS is fine, it could do with a switch panel but never got round to sorting!

Based in Co Durham and currently taxed and MOT til September 2019 so any test drive with proof of insurance no issue.

Overall a nice presentable P38 with very sensible miles for a reasonable price.

Price I would like £1000 ovno no PX I have far too many cars and projects.

Thanks it certainly is, also has a detachable tow bar and twin electrics. Obviously it’s not without fault but one of the smartest round for that money, possibly an appreciating classic for the future.

Due to the future arrive of a new (to me) Defender this needs to go, offers in the region of £1000, will swap for a trials bike and money either way. Don’t be put off by the P38’s reputation this has been family owned for over 10 years and has never failed to get me where it needed too be. Viewing recommend in Co Durham.Thanks Neil
