Thanks for the link. I think there may be more on the 2.2 as it has air con and other bits. It does seem to be the inner wing that is making it tight.
One of the things I have to do is put an extra foam seal between the air intake and the blower. |

FWIW, mine has a/c too. Wasn't an issue in this case.

The fan seal is glued to the motor Board, it must be carefully torn off. |
